Recommendations:
- This parquet, by its texture, does not resemble the classic bamboo wood. The bamboo knots are not visible. It is an extremely hard parquet, being often used in public spaces with intense traffic. It has a particularly attractive appearance, the brown version being obtained through the heat treatment of the wood. The brown strand woven bamboo parquet is preferred for more spacious rooms, which are also well lit. RECOMMENDED also for heavy traffic. NOT RECOMMENDED for underfloor heating. Instead, all horizontal bamboo parquet models are compatible for this type of heating. For details please contact us.
- Below you can see a graph with the Janka hardness of different wood essences. In fact, they are the most common types of wood for parquet manufacturing.
- The strand woven bamboo parquet with nut and feather has the advantage of being fixed in the screed, which gives a very high stability of the floor. This type of assembly will allow in the future, if necessary, to resand the parquet.
- The dark color of bamboo (brown, caramel or brown) is obtained by treating the raw material, the natural bamboo wood, in special ovens, which caramelize the sugars contained in the bamboo fiber through the high temperature. In this way, a special and very attractive color is obtained.
